The business was founded in 1954 by William C. Rigby as on old fashioned, family owned funeral home. Carl W. Harting joined the firm in 1970, and became partner in 1977. In 1983, Bill Hagan, a lifetime Media resident, purchased the business and it was named Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home.
We have purchased adjoining properties, expanded our parking facilities, made spacious additions to our original facility without losing the charm our founder, William C. Rigby intended. We will continue to be an old fashioned family owned funeral home. It is a mantle we carry with pride and distinction.
