Original Building Purchased and Converted into a Funeral Home in 1954 - Built in 1880 as the private residence and legal office of H.C. Howard, Esq. The legal office was located in the bay window on the first floor which is currently Hagan Funeral Home's reception office.
We are a traditional family owned funeral home and cremation center serving all of Delaware County from our beautiful facility in the Old Victorian Section of Media, Pa.
William T. Hagan "Bill" has been owner and supervisor of Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home since 1983. He and his wife, Gigi, raised four children and are proud grandparents. Bill welcomed his youngest son, Michael, into the business in 2010. Michael, also a licensed funeral director, is a proud borough resident who is eager to serve his local community. Michael's sister, Maureen Hagan Mattero, joined the family business in 2013. She is a licensed funeral director, insurance agent and notary public. She and her husband, John Mattero, also reside in Media Borough.
The Hagan family have been Media residents for 5 generations.
We value the traditions of our grandparents, as we learn new and exciting ideas and concepts from our grandchildren. Holding on to the past, as we look forward to an exciting future in our ever changing industry.
