Yvonne D. Rodgers, age 80 years, of Chester, PA.  Passed away March 21, 2023 at CCMC Medical Center.

Yvonne D Rodgers was born on March 29, 1942 in Jacksonville Florida to the late James R. Johnson and Nellie Johnson. Yvonne moved to Chester, Pa and graduated from Chester High School, and Keystone Business School. Yvonne had many jobs throughout her life, her more recent job where she retired form was American Refuge in Delaware County. Yvonne raised 4 children Eric, Everett, Kimberly and Troy.

Yvonne loved gardening, flowers, music and wearing her high heels shoes.  She spent many hours in her basement listening to Oldies but Goodies with her family and friends.

Yvonne was preceded by her Father James Johnson;  Mother Nellie Johnson; Brother Michael Johnson; Sister Darlene Scott; Sister Jacquelyn Thomas; Son Troy Dean Johnson; Yvonne leave to cherish her memory by sons Eric and Everett, daughter Kimberly 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren Brothers Edward, Rosemond, Vincent and Van, Sister Sherria, and Sister in love Alberta Flonard, a host of nieces nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Chester Rural Cemetery (Edgemont Ave. entrance )
