William H. Lorentz, Sr., age 90, a resident of Bechtelsville, PA, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest on April 1, 2023.  He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Son of the late Walter and Grace (née Brown) Lorentz, Bill was born in Upper Darby and raised in Secane.  He graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1950 and lived for many years in Secane and Lansdale with his beloved wife, the late Rose Marie (née D'Amico). Mr. Lorentz enjoyed a long career with Philadelphia Gear Corporation. Bill spent later years in Bechtelsville with his loving companion, the late Janet Gallaher. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, and camping with his family.

Bill is survived by his sons Bill Lorentz, Jr. of Green Lane, PA and Brian Lorentz of Santa Cruz, CA; 4 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
