William R. Green "Bill", age 66, died peacefully at Wayne Center on May 9, 2025.  He was a custodian with Haverford School District for many years and was a longtime resident of Upper Darby before recently moving to Wayne.

One of five children born to the late Nancy F. (nee Kramer) and Samuel H. Green, Jr., Bill spent his formative years in Broomall, PA. He was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School, Class of 1977.  An avid Phillies fan, Bill rarely missed watching a game.  Bill found joy in life's simple moments.  He enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and crafting. He enjoyed sharing his many talents with his friends and he treasured time spent with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his siblings Nancy M. Tracton (Manny) of Drexel Hill, Samuel F. (Helen) of Linwood, Dennis H. (Cris) of Parkesburg, and Cathy L. Dickson (John) of Pittsubrgh.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, June 7th at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA 19063. Visitation will begin at 11 am and the service at 11:30 am.
