Will attended Monsignor Bonner High School, and graduated in the first Class of 1957, where he played varsity football and ran track throughout his four years there. After high school Will attended the University of Tampa. During his time at Tampa he played varsity football, became a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and met his lifetime love, Carolyn. He graduated in 1964, with the degree of Bachelor of Science, in Physical Education and later earned his Master's degree in education from Penn State University.
Will began his teaching career with Interboro School District, where he taught Physical Education and Health at the Tinicum Elementary School. During this time Will and Carolyn moved to West Chester, PA where they resided for 39 years. After 13 years Will left the teaching profession to establish his own business as a painting contractor in Philadelphia's historic Society Hill, as well as in Delaware and Chester Counties.
Will's pride and joy was focused on raising his daughter, Nicole, instilling confidence and teaching her the values of hard work, honesty, and staying true to your word.
Will was very proud of his grandchildren, watching them as they grew up and supporting them in their many school activities, youth sports, and middle school and high school competitions. Nono, as they called him, loved sharing stories of his youth.
Will's favorite pastimes included football, hunting and going to the beach. He also loved meeting new people. He made many lasting friendships because he was sincere, easy to talk to, friendly and outgoing.
