William James Dougherty

William (Bill) Dougherty, 74, of Broomall, PA passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  Born in Danbury, Connecticut he was the son of the late David and Florence (Buchanan) Dougherty and grew up in Ridgefield, CT.  He was a graduate of Ridgefield High School class of 1966.  He then went on to attend photography school in New York and after graduation worked for many major retails across the country.  His talents knew no end.  From photography to landscaping he had a creative eye for everything he touched.  A love for Boston Terriers, he had many over the years named Bebe.

He is survived by his sister Sarah (Sally) Dougherty Holub (Stephen) and predeceased by his sister Mary Lou Dougherty Eckner and brother David J. Dougherty.   Also survived by nieces Jennifer Holub Green,  Deborah Dougherty Ehrlich (Scott) Barbara Ann Eckner Gray, Cindy Eckner Rowe (Kevin)  and nephew William Eckner.
