Vincent James DiDonato, Jr., age 68, loving husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away on March 1, 2021 with his family by his side.  Vincent was born in South Philadelphia to the late Vincent J. and Anna M. (nee D'Achino) DiDonato.  He was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School, Class of 1970, obtained his Masters from Temple University in 1979 and an MBA from Central Michigan University in 1980.  He was the beloved husband of Carol (nee Del Monte) and father to Carol Beth DiDonato and Matthew DiDonato all of Collegeville.  He was the older brother to Bernadette (Vincent) Ciavardini of Broomall.

Vincent began his professional career with Elwyn Institute before working as a Program Analyst at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  He ultimately found a home with Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia where he worked as a project engineer for over thirty years.  A longtime resident of Collegeville, Mr. DiDonato was a parishioner of St. Eleanor's Catholic Church and volunteered as a Cub Scout Master with Pack 707 and a Boy Scout Leader with Troop 231 in Royersford.  He enjoyed photography and bicycle riding and was a train enthusiast.  He livened every family gathering with his quick-wit and sense of humor and was always ready to lend a compassionate ear.  Family was everything to Vincent.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA on Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Friends and family may call from 10-11 am.  Burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
