Vera Anglin was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas on January 23, 1926 and died on June 28, 2020 in Media, Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of Arthur Roper Thomas and Zora Bedford Bowers.  Mrs. Anglin spent most of her life in Ashland, Kentucky.  She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she served on many committees including the Vestry.  She worked as Financial Secretary of the church for 20 years.  She attended schools in Arkansas, and classes at Ashland Community College.  In 2008, she moved to Media, PA to be with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.  She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Media and enjoyed its community.  She loved playing bridge, and was happy to find friends in a lively bridge group in Media.

Mrs. Anglin was married to John C. Anglin of Ashland, KY, and they had two children, Susan Anglin Wagner and Barry Thomas Anglin .   She is survived by her daughter Susan Anglin Wagner, her sister Joe Ann Gleghorn of Corning, AR, her son-in-law William Wagner, and her grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service and burial at the Grayson Memorial Park Cemetery, Grayson, KY on July 7, 2020 11:00 am.
