Thomas J. Tyson, age 64, a resident of Collingdale, passed away at home on March 9, 2021. He was the son of the late Veronica (nee Lott) and Wilmer S. Tyson. Tom was a resident of Drexel Hill for the majority of his life. He was a former member of St. Andrews Church and a graduate of Upper Darby High School. Tom enjoyed motorcycles and had a gift for working on cars and electronics. His skill with automotives led him to a career as an auto mechanic and a transmission specialist with Boeing for 17 years. Tom was a avid Flyers fan and enjoyed watching wrestling. He had a love for animals especially his cats.

He is survived by his siblings Susan Haney, Wilmer Tyson , Veronica McKee, Michael Tyson , Mary Lynn Lombardi, Leo Tyson and Donna Wood along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA 19063.  Friends may call from 10 - 11 am.  The service will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at Arlington Cemetery.
