Obituary

Theodore Spiropoulos passed away at home on March 17th, 2020. Ted was born in Philadelphia, son of Thomas and Stella Spiropoulos. He attended Bartram High School and served in the 111th Infantry of the Pennsylvania National Guards during the Korean War and was proud that he recently was honored and recognized for his service to his country with a certificate of recognition. He lived in Philadelphia for 24 years and during that time, he met and married his loving wife, Margaret Angstadt, spending his remaining 64 years with her. Throughout those years he also resided in Lawrence Park for 14 years and Upper Providence for 47 years. He started his own business, Futureline Auto Upholstery in 1957 in Philadelphia and retired in 2005 after turning the business over to his son, who has continued to successfully run and grow the business in Exton, Pa to this day.

Ted was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media, Pa where he served as an usher for several years. He was happiest spending time outside working around his property and tending to his beloved home. Ted also had an avid interest in antique/classic cars and even owned quite a few throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his brother George Spiropoulos, and sisters Victoria Sentman, Jean Abril and Connie Christman.

He was a much loved husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Survivors: His wife Peg, two sons Richard (Tammi) Spiropoulos of New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Mark (Sharon) Spiropoulos of West Chester Pa and two daughters, Cindy Spiropoulos of Osteen, Fl and Lori Spiropoulos of Edgewater. Fl. As well as, seven grandchildren, Michael, Teddy, Nicole, Kori, AJ, Erin and Casi.

Services will be held Saturday August 8th at St. Mary Magdalen Church 2400 N. Providence Rd Media PA.  Calling is from 10 am-11 am.  Service begins at 11 am.  Burial to follow at Saint Peter & Paul.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of IHM, Camilla Hall 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355.
