Terry McCarthy passed away on August 24, 2020 peacefully in the presence of his loving family. Adored by his family and friends, Terry was a devoted husband, proud father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Terry is survived by his wife MaryAnne, son Bill, daughter Michelle, his parents, and brother Michael.  Born and raised in National Park, NJ to Terry and Cassie McCarthy, Terry was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and Temple University.  Terry and MaryAnne raised their family in Media, PA and are parishioners at St. Mary Magdalen Church.

In addition to Terry being an competitive weight lifter, runner and cyclist, he mastered the bass guitar.  He played in rock bands that performed locally, you may have caught him playing his bass at the Broad Street Run or Riddle Ale House. He also loved spending time at his home in the Poconos kayaking, boating, skiing and hiking.  Terry enjoyed traveling locally and abroad and spending time with family and friends.

Services to be held Saturday August 29, 2020 calling is from 9 am to 10:45 am and Mass at 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Parish 2400 N. Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063.  Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Media, PA.
