Tara Carter Lindholm, age 54, died suddenly at Bryn Mawr Hospital on April 20, 2025. She was a longtime resident of Havertown, PA. The daughter of Gary Carter and Georgene (née Brower), Tara was born in Media and graduated from Penncrest High School Class of 1988. She obtained her B.S. in Financial Management from University of South Florida.

Tara cherished her family, especially her three sons Alec, Michael, and Logan. She loved watching her sons play and perform music, watching them play sports and embraced all their passions immensely. Tara was passionate about helping people in need. She was an elder caregiver and companion as well as a job coach for adults with disabilities.

Tara loved music and dancing and was a die hard Eagles fan.  She enjoyed celebrating with her loved ones, being out on the boat, and sitting outside her house and feeding the birds.  She enjoyed all things in nature, especially trees, water and sunrises.

Tara is survived by her husband of 26 years, Erik Lindholm; her sons Alec, Michael and Logan all of Havertown; and her beloved future daughter-in-law, Carlie Jimenez. She is also survived by her dear friends Mary Lynne Frey and Nancy Kearney as well as her step-father, Steven Levenstein, and her step-mother, Jodi Leshner.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 12:30 pm this Sunday, April 27th, at the Ohev Shalom Synagogue in Wallinford, PA. All are welcome.
