Steven Edward Belczyk, age 65, passed away at his home in Secane on June 19, 2023.  Beloved father, son, brother and uncle, Steven was born to Dorothy and Edward Belczyk in 1958. His childhood years were spent with his brother, Mark, in Springfield, PA. He was a former member of Holy Cross Church. Steven recently returned to Delaware County after living in the Boston area for over twenty years.

Steven was a Computer Science major at Temple University and completed his postgraduate studies at Penn State.  He worked as a computer programmer with the EPA for over a decade before embarking on a lengthy career with GTE/Verizon where he oversaw the management of Verizon's website.

Steven was blessed with an incredible musical gift. He was a virtuoso on the bassoon but also enjoyed guitar, bass, and keyboard.

He is survived by his son, Ian Belczyk of Boston, and his brother, Mark (Mary) of Media.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, August 5th in the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063. Burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
