Media, PA – Stephen Joseph Damiano of Media, PA, 62 years old, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2021.  Stephen was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 28, 1959 to Helen Marie Damiano (Nee Irwin) and David Joseph Damiano.

He was a graduate of The Vanguard School and spent his career in the Philadelphia Gas Works and Super Fresh. Stephen lived in Overbrook, Drexel Hill and Media, PA.  He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed Scooby Doo, his dog Harley, cheating at Monopoly, cheering for the Eagles and his favorite TV shows on ME TV. One of his favorite questions was "What time is the game?" He loved his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many.

Stephen is predeceased by his father David and his mother Helen. He is survived by his brothers David (Patricia) Damiano, Michael (Mary Elizabeth) and his sisters Teresa (John) Pyle, Bernadette (Peter) Brust and Regina (Rodney) Murgueytio and his nieces and nephews Kelly Damiano, Michael Damiano, Christopher (Caroline) Damiano, John (Diep) Pyle, Christopher (April) Brust, Timothy Damiano, David (Kirstie) Pyle, and Megan Brust.   He was also very attached to Nancy Gebru Demoze who was his aide for the past 10 years.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 9, 2021 from 9:45 -10:45 am at St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, PA. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Friday, 11:00 am, at St. John Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, PA.  Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomall, PA .
