Shirley M. Gambrill, 81, passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2021.

She was born in Springfield and settled in Media, PA for the last 59 years until she was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Shirley graduated from Springfield High School class of 1957.  She was previously employed as a secretary at State Farm Insurance.  After the birth of her first child, she lovingly devoted herself to raising her family.  Shirley was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She cherished nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.  She treasured summers spent at the Jersey shore where she and her beloved sister enjoyed nearly every day sitting on the beach.  Shirley was an active member at Grace Bible Fellowship Church where she taught the preschool children for 40+ years.  She also sang in the church choir and often provided childcare for parents attending meetings in the church building.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Harry, her sister Audrey McGuire, and her parents Howard and Stella Jones.

Survived by her children: Deborah Bromley, Harry (Dawn) Gambrill III, Kimberly (Jeff) Reynolds, Thomas (Kelly) Gambrill, and Richard (Jessica) Gambrill.  She was Mom-Mom to 22 grandchildren: Jessica, Heather, Emily, Sarah, Justin, Joel, Meghan, Andrew, Kyle, Kerry, Ryan, Haley, Sydney, Lucy, Sammy, Joey, Courtney, Ruby, Maddie, Alice, Evan, Audrey and one great-grandson, Tristan.

Viewing will be Sunday April 25th from 6:00 to 8:00PM.  Viewing and Service will also be held Monday April 26th., with a viewing from 9:30-10:30AM and a service at 11:00AM.  Location will be at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home 15 E. 4th Street, Media, PA 19063.

Burial to follow at Chester Rural Cemetery.
