Samuel J. Mazzeo Jr.
August 15, 1929 to September 13, 2021

Born in S.W. Philadelphia to Santo Mazzeo and Antoinette Mazzeo. Mr. Mazzeo moved to Media, PA in 1969 where he resided with his wife, Virginia, and two children.  He moved to S.W. Florida in 2020 and lived in Fort Myers until his death.

Samuel was a retired iron worker, truck driver and maintenance man, retiring from the Wallingford Swarthmore School District in 1998 from the maintenance department.  Samuel served his country faithfully during the Korean War.  He liked to hunt, woodwork and spend time with friends and family.  His wife, Virginia, predeceased him in 1996.

He is survived by his daughter Antoinette (James) and son Samuel J. Mazeo III, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Mr. Mazzeo's funeral will be held at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 28th at 11:00 am.  Friends and family are invited to a calling from 9-11 am.  Burial will follow the service at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
