Ryan James Kilpatrick, age 52, passed away suddenly at home on September 28, 2026. A lifetime resident of Media, PA, Ryan was a beloved father, son, and brother.

Born on November 16, 1973, Ryan was one of four children born to Jim and Beverly “Bicky” Kilpatrick. He graduated from Penncrest High School in 1992 and continued his studies at EMT School as well as the Police Academy. Ryan had a good heart, a love for his Media community and an instinct towards helping others. He volunteered for 5 years with the Media Fire Company and worked as an HVAC tech for Rose Tree Media School District having previously worked for Horizon and Brandywine School District.

Ryan was the adoring father of two boys, Stephen and Ryan Jr., with whom he shared a love of all Philadelphia sports teams, Nascar, and building Lego sets. He had a passion for cooking and a great appreciation for music and collecting firearms.

In addition to his parents, Jim and Beverly, and his sons, Stephen and Ryan Jr., Ryan is survived by three sisters Amy Amberg, Kara Kelly, and Katie Kilpatrick.

Friends are invited to a calling at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth Street on Saturday, October 3rd from 9:30-11:30 am. A memorial service will begin at 11:30 am.
