Roger Dale Morris, father, grandfather, cherished uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on May
31, 2023. He was 77 years old.

Roger grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Anne and Nelson Morris. He was a bright and curious
child who enjoyed playing outdoors and fishing with his dad. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University
where he fell in love with his classmate, Bobbi Rendin. Roger and Bobbi married in 1969
and lived in Cleveland while Roger completed his law degree at Case Western Reserve University.

Roger was an attorney, community volunteer, member of civic clubs and organizations, but counted
his role as dad and "Grandpa Rogi" as his greatest honor and accomplishment. He could grow, cook,
or fix anything, sing any tune, talk to anyone, and find the good - and humor - in any situation. He
was a gentle man except when it came to his opponents on the tennis or racquetball court where he
took no prisoners. Roger had many interests throughout his life. In recent years, he especially loved
telling jokes, collecting seeds, tending to his herb garden, creating unique recipes, and talking about
the things that matter with the people he loved. Roger's enduring legacy will be his hopeful spirit,
positive attitude, and ready smile.

Roger was predeceased by his precious daughter, Katherine Anne Morris. He leaves behind daughter
Elizabeth Orye and her husband, Jamie; son, Peter Morris; former wife and friend Barbara Rendin
Morris; and loving sister Laurel Jenkins. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Ben and Joe
Orye, Jaya and Jewel Arca-Morris and their mother, Jamie Arca as well as his extended family
members and friends.
