With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Gruver Davis, beloved father, grandfather, friend, and best neighbor, who left us on March 21, 2025.

Born on May 28, 1945, in Darby, Pennsylvania, Bob was a source of strength and love for his family. He dedicated his life to providing for them, and his kindness touched the lives of many.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Ann Davis. His children survive him: Robert Gruver Davis Jr. (Amy Engantovich), Michael Edwards Davis (Terry Coyle), and Christine Davis Hickey; grandchildren Olivia Grace Hickey, Conal Patrick Hickey Jr., Andrew Jude Hickey and his loving partner Pam Egnatovich, who will cherish his memory and carry on his legacy. Bob was known for his ability to become the mayor of every street he lived on. The common theme of friends and neighbors is that he was the first to welcome them to the neighborhood and was the first to lend a helping hand. His enthusiasm for helping others, especially with handyman chores or their lawn, was contagious, bringing joy and laughter to all around him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025, at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home , 15 E 4th St. Media PA, 19063; calling hour at 9:00, Service at 10:00 with the burial immediately following at Philadelphia Memorial Park 124 Phoenixville Pike, Frazer PA. 19355. Friends and family are welcome to join us in honoring a remarkable man who will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
