Richard L. Knight, age 81, of Glen Mills and formerly of Media, PA, died peacefully on October 21, 2021 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.  Born in Indianapolis, Mr. Knight was a graduate of Howe High School and Purdue University.  He served as a US Navy Lieutenant for six years before beginning his career in pharmaceuticals.  He worked in sales administration with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals for nearly 20 years.

Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Eleanor Knight.  Together they raised two children on Kelly Lane in Media. They were members of Christ Episcopal Church in Media.  In his free time, Richard enjoyed painting with water colors, cooking and traveling.

Mr. Knight is survived by his son, David B. Knight of Philadelphia, and his daughter, Jennifer L. Knight of San Diego.

A private graveside service will be held at Media Cemetery, and the family will have a memorial gathering on Friday afternoon, October 29th, from 3-5 pm at the Town House Restaurant in Media.
