Philomena M. Melchiorre, age 87, a longtime resident of Media, died peacefully at home on May 7, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Domenico Melchiorre who preceded her in death in 2009.

Born in Cedar Hollow, PA, Phil was the daughter of the late Donoto and Rose (nee Pellicciotta) Tiberini.  She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and worked as a dispatcher for Verizon for over 30 years.  A loving wife and mother to three adoring daughters, Phil loved arts and crafts, reading and going out to eat with friends.

Phil is survived by her daughters Rosemarie Melchiorre of Media, Nina Flanagan (Derek) of Media, and Joanne Melchiorre (David Peppel) of Thorndale; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sisters Janette Tiberino and Theresa Dolbow both of Clifton Heights.

Phil's funeral services will be Thursday at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home.  Friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 am.  The service will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
