Peter Matthew Leinweber, 85, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 21, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 29, 1941, Peter was the beloved son of the late Sol and Sylvia Leinweber. He spent his life bringing laughter, kindness, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Sandi Nathan Leinweber; his loving daughters, Stacey and Stephanie; and his cherished grandson, Nate, who brought him endless pride and joy. One of Peter's greatest pleasures was watching Nate play hockey, cheering him on every chance he had.

Peter enjoyed spending time on his iPad, following his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, and never missed an opportunity to root for the Eagles and the Phillies. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind heart, and an infectious personality that made people feel welcome. He will be remembered for his laughter, his love for his family, and the genuine friendships he built throughout his life.

Above all, Peter was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
