Peter John Faunce

6/2/1942 to 11/13/2025

John Faunce lived a colorful life and fought hard to keep living as long as possible.  After becoming sober he continued his education and worked for decades to help others on their journey, to and through sobriety, as a counselor and sponsor.

He loved to regale anyone who would listen with tales, both true and embellished, from his wild, youthful days.  He also loved salsa dancing, cooking, watching bad movies, and cheering on his favorite teams. His kids remember many nights cheering his much loved Philadelphia Flyers.

John leaves behind four daughters, Charlene, Jennifer, Megan, and Erin, a raucous gang of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many loving friends including Kim and Sharon who cared for him through his final months and days.  He is preceded by his daughter Tracy and his brother Harry.

Services for John will take place at a later date determined by his family.
