Patricia Ann Paulley, a longtime resident of the Media area, passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 60.  She was a devoted mother, sister and daughter.

Born and raised in Lima, PA, Patricia was the daughter of Shirley and the late James "Skip" Pauley, III.  She graduated from Penncrest High School in 1980, obtained her BSN from Drexel University through Hahnemann Hospital, and her MSN from Grand Canyon University.  Patricia worked in Riddle Memorial Hospital's emergency room for 25 years.  She was the first Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (S.A.N.E.) in Delaware County, running a pilot program at Riddle.  She served as the Main Line Health System's Stroke Program Coordinator which culminated in Stroke Program Certification for Riddle, Lankenau Medical Center and Paoli Memorial Hospital. Patricia spent the past 12 years with Chester County Hospital as the Director of Nursing Quality.  She oversaw the achievement of Magnet Certification on the hospital's first application.

Always supportive of her children, Patricia was very involved in their activities. She volunteered as Swim Team Manager at Knowlton Swim Club, assisted in running the annual charitable Chase the Friar Kids' Triathlon founded by her son at Malvern Prep, and became a lifelong fan of water polo after watching both of her children compete.  She also assisted at the Goshen Fair through Chester County Hospital.

Patricia loved to visit Europe and was an avid reader.  She could often be found laying in the sun by the pool and enjoyed visiting her children at college.

Patricia is survived by her children Paul Stockett and Gabriella "Sally" Stockett, both of Media, PA; her sister, Debra Paulley of Lima, PA; and her mother, Shirley Paulley.

Patricia's memorial service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Rd. Media, PA 19063.  A private burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.
