Patricia Albro Owens passed away suddenly at Lankenau Hospital on June 2, 2022 at the age of 83.  She was the beloved wife of Rev. Dr. Dale E. Owens of Springfield, PA.  Born to the late Willet and Ruth (nee Brandes) Albro in Rushford, NY.  Patti spent her formative years in Rushford where she attended Rushford Central School and then moved onto SUNY Geneseo for college.  She moved to the Philadelphia area in 1962 and briefly resided in Langhorne before settling with her family in Springfield, PA in 1974.  Patti worked in various schools throughout her teaching career and was the Director of Covenant Nursery School from 2000-2010.

Patti was a devoted and adored wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her career and passion was teaching young children which she did for nearly 50 years. She had a special knack for working with children with special needs including one of her own. Outside of her commitment to her family, church and young children, Patti was an avid reader and lifelong learner, a renowned baker, a talented artist and skilled craftsperson, a lover of nature and a compassionate and tireless caregiver.

In addition to her husband, Rev. Dr. Dale E. Owens, Patti is survived by her children Lisa Chapman (John) of Wyndmoor, PA, Dale Owens (Karen) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Michelle Lynn Owens of Springfield, PA; 6 grandchildren Casey Owens, Brianna Chapman, Jack Owens, Benjamin Chapman, Peter Owens & Zach Owens; sisters Connie Knuppel of Sullivan, ME and Sandy Munson of Medford Lakes, NJ; and her sister-in-law Patricia A. Owens.
