Nicoletta Corvino "Nicki", age 77, a longtime resident of Upper Providence, passed away on January 15, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Nicki was born to Donato Carulli and Angelina Fina Bucciarelli in Poggio Fiorito, a town in the Abruzzo region of Italy.  She spent her early childhood in Italy before immigrating to the Philadelphia area.  Nicki graduated from St. Donato School in Overbrook and attended Dobbins Technical High School where she studied cosmetology.

She worked for many years as a cosmetologist at Marcus John Salon.  Nicki enjoyed sharing home cooked meals and recipes with her family and friends. She was a wonderful seamstress and was happy to help with the many shows her children performed in.

Nicki is survived by her husband of 52 years, Anthony Corvino; her children Nicholas Corvino (Kathleen) of West Deptford, NJ and Dana Corvino (Stephen Bickel) of Morton, PA; and her grandchildren Charlie, Joanna, Mia, Stevie and Daisy. She is also survived by her brothers Rocco Carulli of Springfield and Mario Carulli of Wyalusing.

Nicki's funeral will be held at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023.  Friends may call from 10-11 am. The service will begin at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude ( www.stjude.org ) or the Special Olympics ( support.specialolympics.org ).
