Nancy Powlick, age 93, passed away peacefully at home in Springfield, Pa on September 11, 2024. She was born in Frackville, PA on January 27, 1931 to her father, Peter Billie, and mother, Fannie Billie(nee Chernitsky)

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard Powlick. A devoted mother of 5 children, she was also preceded in death earlier this year by her only son, Stephen Powlick (Donna). She is survived by her daughters Sandra Bokas (Steve), Diane Hartnett (Tim), Karen McCormick (Jim) and Joanne Powlick, her pride and joy. She was a beloved grandmother to Ryan McCormick, Kelly Krystopa (Steve), Tina & Allison Hartnett and Nick Bokas (Amber), and Great Grandmother to Haylei Krystopa, Nicholas, Mia & Stella Bokas. They will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A devout Christian, Nancy worked for many years helping others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She always placed care of her family above all else though, and has left a void that cannot be filled. She will be remembered fondly for her wonderful sense of humor and unconditional love and devotion to her children.

Nancy's family will announce a memorial service in the coming weeks once final arrangements have been made. She will be buried at a later date alongside her husband, Bernard, at Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery.
