Mildred Waldt, age 96, a resident of Glen Mills Senior Living, passed away on December 28, 2020.  She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family.

Born in Collegeville, PA to the late Charles and Fanny Crane, Mildred was a graduate of Collegeville High.  She moved to Philadelphia and later Collingdale where she raised her children and spent the majority of her life.  Mildred worked as an inspector for Clifton Precision for over twenty years and as an Office Manager with the University of Pennsylvania.  She retired from Penn after dedicating 15 years to the University.

Mildred was a member of Tully Memorial Presbyterian and volunteered with Collingdale Senior Citizens.  She loved animals and was a huge Philadelphia sports fan.  She enjoyed reading and spending time at the beach and was very proud of her Irish heritage.

Mildred is survived by three sons Harry Waldt (Tammy) of Cochranville, Alan Waldt of Swarthmore and Larry Waldt of Boynton Beach, FL; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mildred's funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA 19063.  Friends may call from 9:30 - 10:30 am.  The service will begin at 10:30 followed by her burial at Montrose Cemetery in Upper Darby.
