Mildred S. Schuyler, age 90, died peacefully at her home in Media on August 1, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late John Schuyler and daughter of the late Robert and Lois Stanley, Mildred was born in New London, NH and raised in Franklin, NH where she graduated from Malden High School in 1948. Mildred was a member of the Massachusetts Order of the Rainbow for Girls from 1945-1951 and was a lifetime supporter of New Hampshire Grange.

Mildred and John settled in the Media area nearly 60 years ago.  Mildred graduated from Lansdale School of Business before beginning her administrative career.  She worked as a secretary to the Director of Mercy Home Health and as secretary to the Research Director at Sharp & Dohme.  She was active with the PA Order of the Eastern Star from 1968 through her time of death.

Mrs. Schuyler was the proud and dedicated mother of six children.  She was preceded in death by her daughters Lane E. Schuyler of Media and Linda M. Knowles of Essington.  She is survived by her children Lois A. Rockwood of Houlton, ME, John S. Schuyler of Linwood, Laura Nicolaides (Michael) of West Grove, Lea S. Smith (Thomas) of Media, and son-in-law John Knowles of Essington.  She was the loving grandmother of the late Daniel, Kristen, Melanie, TJ, Mary, Robert, Steven, Devan, Luke, the late Aime, and Jack, and she was blessed to have 8 great-grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her sister, Janet Burke of Palm Harbor, FL.

There will be a visitation at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home on Friday evening, August 6th, from 6-8 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 pm.
