Michael A. Varallo, age 62, a longtime resident of Philadelphia, died suddenly on October 19, 2023.

One of six children, Michael was born in Philadelphia to the Late Louis J. Varallo Jr. and Rene Varallo (nee Canuso).  He grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Roman Catholic High School.  He was a skilled carpenter working for Rockport Construction Company for many years. Michael treasured time spent with his son, Michael A. Varallo, Jr.  A lover of fishing and boating, Michael formerly resided in Pompano Beach, FL and Ocean City, NJ. He was an avid reader and an accomplished pool player.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Louis J. Varallo III, Anthony J. Varallo and Rosemarie Myers.  He is survived by his son, Michael, and his siblings Gina Varallo Pollino of Harleysville and Francis G. Varallo of Blackwood, NJ.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 27th at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Rd., Yeadon, PA 19050. Family and friends may meet at the Holy Cross Cemetery office by the gates at 2 pm.
