Michael J. Adamonis

May 2, 1963- August 18, 2021

Michael J.  Adamonis, 58, of Upland, Pa., died peacefully on August 18, 2021.

A lifelong resident of Upland, PA, Mike was a 1981 graduate of St. James Catholic High School.

Mike then enlisted in the United States Air Force, stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter,  South Carolina. He was awarded the AF Outstanding Unit Award, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and AF Training Ribbon. He also completed an Electrician Course.

Upon discharge, Mike entered the Philadelphia College of Bible (Cairn University), completing 4 years of study, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible degree.

Mike enjoyed playing electric guitar and loved music. He also liked going to concerts and movies, and enjoyed watching sports. He had a great love for the Lord and was a regular church goer.

He is survived by his dear mother, Catherine Adamonis, sister Lisa Kei, both of San Diego, CA;

and his brother, Rev. Pio (Peter) Adamonis, O.S.B. of Latrobe, PA.

He is predeceased by his loving father Peter P. Adamonis, Sr. of Upland, PA., and his sister Debbie A. Adamonis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, August 24,2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 30 E. Franklin St., Media, Pa.,

followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
