Matthew Stephen Allsman, age 41, died peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2022.  He was born in Media, PA, and resided there for most of his life.

Matt was a graduate of St. Mary Magdalen School and Cardinal O'Hara High School.

Matt's handsome dimpled smile and contagious laugh brought joy to so many.  His friends and family will remember him always not for the challenges that he faced, but for the kind, funny, generous soul that he was.  He is survived by his loving parents to whom he was devoted, James and Mary Frances Allsman; brothers, James; Francis and his husband, Michael B. Ferguson; Thomas and his wife, Julie; and David and his wife, Erin, and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Desmond, Jack, Jane and Sabrina.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 13 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Rigby, Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 East 4 ^th Street, Media, PA 19063, and Friday, January 14 from 9:30 am - 10:45 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Matt's memory to the Media Little League, PO Box 1752. , Media, PA 19063.
