Obituary - Mary (nee Carr) Lynch, 97, of Glenolden, PA, died October 17, 2025, at home. Born and raised in Chester, she was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan. Mary worked in the restaurant industry beginning at the old Alpine Restaurant in Springfield continuing at the Airport Ramada and Brandywine Hilton. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Secane. Mary enjoyed cross stitch. reading and the shore. Travel was an important part of her life. Married to a sailor, she helped organize ship reunions for the USS Fleming, traveling all over the country visiting former shipmates. Beloved wife of the late Walter F., survivors include her sons, Walter (Marie) Lynch, Jr., James (Pat) Lynch, John (Cheryl) Lynch and daughter, Julia (Michael) Reeve; Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends

Visitation: 9 AM Thursday, October 23, 2025, followed by

10AM Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, South Ave, Secane

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Contributions: in her memory to Penn Hospice would be preferred.
