Obituary

Mary Lou Lally (nee Faulkner, Clark) 87, passed on February 29, 2024, at Riddle Village, Media. Born in Flushing, New York, on September 30, 1936, Marylou graduated from St. Mary's High School in Manhassett, New York, in 1954; and from the Flushing Hospital School of Nursing as an R.N. in 1968.

She married John "Jack" Raymond Clark, Sr., and gave birth to sons: John, Jim, Joe, and Jeff. In 1964, Jack passed in Flushing, NY, at 29. Mary Lou was introduced to Vincent Lally, Prospect Park, by mutual friends in New York. Mary Lou and Vince were married on December 7, 1968, in Flushing, and the family relocated to Media, PA, two weeks later. Their daughter, Elizabeth Ann "Betty Ann," was born in 1970. Mary Lou and Vince raised their children in their family home in Media until moving to Riddle Village in 2010.

Mary Lou was a parishioner at St. Mary Magdalen Church and worked in the field of nursing for over 35 years. Enjoying bowling, entertaining family and friends, and traveling, she loved keeping the spirit of Mickey Mouse alive, taking her whole family to Disney World on numerous occasions. Mary Lou's kind, generous heart was evident in all she did. She volunteered by helping those with disabilities on weekends and paying for those in need by standing behind them in the shopping line. Having had two sons in the military, one of Mary Lou's hobbies while traveling was finding individuals in the military to treat to lunch when at the airport.

Predeceased by her husband Vincent A. Lally, and son Jeffrey K. Clark, Mary Lou is survived by her remaining children: John R. Clark (Nellie) of San Diego, CA; James L. Clark (Mimi) of Newtown Square; Joseph G. Clark (Linda) of West Chester; and Betty Ann Simmons (nee Lally) (Scott) of Media. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
