Mary Jane Consadene of Rose Valley, Pa died July 2, 2023 at Highgate of Paoli Pointe.  She was 90 years old.  Born and raised in Taylor, Pennsylvania, she lived for 13 years in Springfield before moving to Rose Valley, where she resided for 47 years before moving to Highgate.  Mary Jane was married to James Edward Consadene for 46 years before his death in 2008.

She graduated from Ridley Park High School in 1950 and following High School attended the Springfield Keystone Secretarial/Business School.

Mary Jane worked for Scott Paper Company in the HR department and as a secretary for the Rose Valley Borough where she loved meeting and talking to all the residents on a daily basis.  She was a member of Maran-Atha Tabernacle for over 47 years and attended Grace Bible Fellowship in Wallingford, Pa, once her beloved Jim passed in 2008.

She was a volunteer with the Rose Valley Town Watch and with the election activities for the Rose Valley Borough.  She also volunteered countless hours over the years with The Christian Academy Hearth Sorority.

Her hobbies included decorating her cherished home in Rose Valley and entertaining with her friends at any opportunity.  She enjoyed traveling to Williamsburg Virginia on many occasions to shop and to enjoy the history.  She loved her grandchildren and spent every opportunity spending time with them growing up.  She also kept a tight connection to her Taylor roots and spent so many wonderful years spending time with her relatives from Taylor, Pa.

She is survived by sons, Matthew James Consadene (Amy) of Andover, CT, Jonathan Davis Consadene (Christa) of Media, sister in-law Mary Lou Ballard, and five grandchildren (Meghan, Alex, Abigail, Nathaniel, and Samuel).

Mary Jane was predeceased by her loving husband Jim, her brother John Davis, and her brother in-law Roy Consadene.

Friends and family are invited to Mary Jane's funeral service at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA 19063 on Wednesday, July 12th.  There will be a visitation from 10-11 am with the service beginning at 11 am.  Burial will be private. In addition, there will be a memorial service at 10 am on Saturday, July 22nd at Grace Bible Fellowship, 723 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA 19086.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Mary Jane's name may be made to the The Christian Academy, Brookhaven, Pa.
