Mary Ann Comfort (née Will) passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 5, 2023 at the age of 87.  She was the beloved wife of Melvin Gus Comfort and a longtime resident of Glen Mills.

Born in Newark, NJ to the late Alice (née Hickens) and Charles Will, Mary Ann spent her childhood years in Eddystone where she graduated from Eddystone High School in 1953.  She worked as an administrative assistant at the Franklin Mint for over three decades and was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.  Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her three grandsons.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin Gus Comfort; her daughters Kathleen Rankin (James) of Coatesville and Maureen Comfort of Glenn Mills; 3 grandsons and 1 great-grandchild along with her step-brother, Fred Godwin of Boothwyn.

A graveside service will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA ( www.pspca.org ).
