Marlene J. Krasas, age 88, a longtime resident of Folcroft, PA, died peacefully in Philadelphia on June 8, 2025.

Daughter of the late Delphina (nee Ianni) and Nino Cetrone, Marlene was one of five children and was preceded in death by her siblings Andrew, Carmen, Greta and Anthony. She was born and raised in Philadelphia where she attended West Catholic Girls High School.  At age 24, Marlene and her beloved husband of 59 years, the late Nickolas Krasas, moved to Delaware County where they settled in Folcroft to raise their growing family.

Marlene enjoyed working in the Delcroft Elementary School cafeteria serving lunches to the students.  She was a longtime member of St. George Church in Glenolden and volunteered as a Folcroft Election Poll worker.  In her spare time, she worked on crossword puzzles, picture puzzles and painted ceramics.  She baked wonderful Italian cookies and enjoyed trips to the casinos. Marlene liked to watch golf and was a huge Phillies and Eagles fan. She had a loved for music and especially enjoyed listening to the Three Tenors, Andrea Bocelli and Frank Sinatra. She was a devoted grandmother and proud great-grandmother.

Marlene is predeceased by her husband, Nickolas Krasas, and her daughter, Diane Krasas.

She is survived by her children James Krasas of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Denise Krasas of Folcroft, PA, and Donna Miller of Westville, NJ. She is also survived by grandchildren Kelsey Krasas of Poulsbo, WA, Danielle Gill (Julian) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Johnny McNichola (Tara) of Norwood, PA as well as great-grandchildren Tara Miller and David Gill.
