Marion Edna Roth, age 111, died peacefully on January 17, 2020 at White Horse Village.  Marion was born in the City of Chester in 1908. She and her husband lived in Chester County where she resided prior to White Horse Village.  Marion was a former member of St. Simon & Jude Church.

Marion received her BA  from West Chester State Teachers College. Marion also received her MA from Villanova University. She also attended the Phila Art Institute, Temple University and University of Delaware.  Marion taught at East Fallowfield Elementary School before becoming a school counselor for Newark/New Castle Schools.

Marion was predeceased by her loving husband Fredrick S. Roth who passed away in 1966.   She is also predeceased by her Grandson Stephan Roth.

She is survived by her Son Fredrick William Roth, of Maryland.  Her Grandson Jason Roth and her Great Grandsons Tyler, Joshua and Jeremy.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday January 23, 2020, at 11 am and calling will be in the Church from 10:30-11 am at St Mary Magdalen Church  2400 N. Providence Ave Media PA.

Burial to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery.
