Margaret Garrett "Peggy", a longtime resident of Malvern and more recently of White Horse Village in Newtown Square, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margaret will be deeply missed by her family.

Born in Coatesville, PA, Peggy was the daughter of the late Minnie and George Spratt.  She grew up in Clinton, Connecticut then moved to Pennsylvania where she lived for nearly forty years working as a nurse and raising her children Thomas, Tina and Gina.  Peggy married John Garrett and welcomed his two sons into her family.

A lover of the outdoors, Peggy enjoyed sailing, RVing, and gardening.  She adored taking care of her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Garrett; her children Thomas Banghart, Tina Vickery, Gina Wallace, John Garrett, Jr. and Scott Garrett.  She is also survived by six grandchildren Thomas Banghart V, Ian Turner Banghart, Megan Allison Harris, Katherine Harris, Elizabeth Cramer and Peter Wallace along with many great-grandchildren.
