Lynne B. Armstrong, age 80, formerly of Cape May, NJ and more recently of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away on October 3, 2023.

Lynne was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Born in Philadelphia to the late Edward and Mary Meiswich, Lynne spent her childhood years in Drexel Hill where she graduated from St. Andrews Catholic School (1957) and Archbishop Prendergast High School (1961). She worked in Civil Service for the State of NJ for over 25 years. In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzels, Sudoku, pinochle, and trivia.

Lynne is survived by her daughter Maryellen Zarro of Philadelphia and her three beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Wayne Meiswich of Secane, Dale Lamoureux of Media, Nila Helveston-Shinn of Marlton, and Inez Dohrman of New Bern, NC; Godsons, Adam Paul & Stephen Meiswich, a Goddaughter, Maryann Crocamo; along with many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Lynne's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 8th at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA 19063. There will be a calling from 9:30-11 am followed by Mass at 11 am. Burial will be private.
