Lucille (nee DiDonna) Grandizio, 78 of Aston, PA passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima, PA.  Lucille was born and raised in South Philadelphia, PA.  She graduated from Saint Maria Goretti High School and later earned her Medical Assistant Certificate from Delaware County Community College.

Lucille worked in the medical profession most of her life including Planned Parenthood and Delaware County Family Medical Health.  She was an advocate for affordable OBGWN care for young women.  Lucille enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her 2 grand-dogs Cashmere and Lincoln.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Marlayna Grandizio Hammonds (Christopher Hammonds) of Aston, PA, her grandson John Hammonds, her sister Roseanne Aversa, brother Dominic DiDonna, sister-in-law Theresa DiDonna, nieces Tara Root (Michael), Marlo DiDonna Ricci (Paul) and Dana Macleod (Peter), and grandnieces and grandnephews.  She is predeceased by her parents Angelo and Rose DiDonna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, April 2nd at St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Rd. Aston, PA.  There will be a visitation in the church from 10 - 11 am.
