Louise C. Rickards

age 85 years, of Glen Mills, Pa.  On December 21, 2021 at her home in Maris Grove.  Mrs. Rickards was born and raised in Philadelphia. She lived in Springfield, PA where she and her late husband raised their family.  They moved to Middletown Twp. and after many years, then moved to Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA.  Louise was a member of the Hancock Memorial Methodist Church for many years where she served on the church treasury.  She worked for Mellon Bank as a bank teller for over 15 years, but her focus was on being a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed her summers in Bethany Beach, DE with her family.

Mrs. Rickards was the wife of the late Gerald Rickards. They married in 1957 and celebrated 54 years of marriage before is death in 2011. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Esther Rusk.  Louise is survived by her 2 daughters  Lynn Harman (Michael)  and Donna Hunn ( Bob).  She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren Stephen, Tim and Bethany.

Funeral service will be Monday  ( December 27, 2021 ) 11:00 AM at The Rigby & Hagan Funeral Home  15 E. Fourth St.  Media, PA 19063 Friends may call 10:30 AM before the service.
