Louise Inez Bratcher, age 79, passed away peacefully at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital on February 5, 2026.  Though she lived most of her life in South Philadelphia, Louise was born in Texas and spent some of her childhood years in Oklahoma.  After graduating from high school, Louise decided to obtain her Associate of Applied Science degree to become a dental hygienist, a career that she loved.

A woman of great faith, Louise was a parishioner of St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church.  She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake.  She also enjoyed arts and crafts.  Louise Attended Mercy Life's Senior Center in South Philadelphia where she'd partake in various activities.  While on dialysis, Louise made a host of friends with others at DaVita South Broad Street Dialysis Center.

Louise was a lover of animals, and leaves behind her dear pet cat which she loving referred to as "the cat".  She is also survived by family in Oklahoma, Texas, and Pennsylvania.  When she passed, she was surrounded by family and friends.

A life celebration service will take place May 9th, 2026 at Trinity Memorial Church from 1:30P.M. - 3:30P.M.  Address: 2212 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. (Please Note: Guests may park in the loading zone outside the church during the day of the service)
