Lois A.
Cook
Sep 6, 1933 — Mar 9, 2024
Lois A. Cook (nee Mullin), formerly a longtime resident of Folcroft, PA embarked on her final adventure on March 9, 2024, at the age of 90 in Media, PA. Born on September 6, 1933, in Morton, PA, Lois lived a full circle of life, seasoned with love and wit.
Daughters Lisa Kennedy (Bob) and Amy Dougherty (Mike) fondly remember their mother's zest for life and her ability to whip up love and laughter in equal measure. Grandchildren Melissa and Megan Kennedy will miss her stories and the twinkle in her eye.
The Cook family matriarch was greeted on the other side by her loving husband, William Cook, III, who is likely asking, "What took you so long?" Also welcoming her with open arms are her brother, Charles Mullin, and parents, Charles "Buck" and Alice Mullin (Stott) ready for a heavenly reunion.
Lois's spirit, a recipe of resilience and grace, will be celebrated by all who knew her. She proved that the secret ingredient to a well-lived life is a dash of humor, a bowl of ice cream, and the courage to bake your own story. Bon voyage, Lois, until we all meet at the great family picnic in the sky.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 15, from 9-10 am at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home followed by Lois's funeral service at 10 am. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Broomall, PA.
