Obituary

Linda Marie Eschbach (nee Botta), a longtime resident of Delaware County, born in El Paso, Texas to Joseph A. Botta of Philadelphia PA and Eleanor L. Kemper of Washington State who predeceased her.  She was the granddaughter of Sicilian immigrants. She was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School. She received her degree from Penn State University (Brandywine) along with her paralegal certification.  She also attended St. Joseph's University and received a certification in Labor Relations. She served for many years as a Girl Scout Leader and volunteered through the United Way at The Domestic Abuse Project in Media.  She was devoted to her family and adored her two granddaughters, Chloe Elizabeth and Lily Christina. Ms. Eschbach is survived by her children, Victoria E. Whitby, Jacquelyn A. Eschbach (Jude Egbert) and John Joseph Eschbach IV. She is also survived by her sisters C. Jean Keough (John) and Patricia J. Pugh (David) as well as a nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She is also survived by her beloved stepmother, Rita Botta.  She worked for many years as a paralegal for Daly & Associates.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Linda's funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA. There will be calling from 9:30-10:30 am. Mass will begin at 10:30 am followed by burial at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or the National MS Society .
