Letitia R. Turner

Letitia "Tish" Turner, 99, of Riddle Village Media, Pa. She was preceded by her loving husband, Lt. Colonel Ellwood Jackson Turner Jr. and her sister, Roberta Mahan. She is survived by her brother, Samuel Rhodes of Jensen Beach, Fl.; 3 daughters Rue Baronsky of Camden, De., Letitia "Tish" Mayo of Media, Pa., and Elizabeth Rorke of Glen Mills, Pa; son-in-laws William Baronsky, Stephen Rorke and Richard Mayo (deceased). 8 grandchildren Jeffrey Mayo, Brett Mayo, Letitia "Tish" Mayo, Michael Baronsky, Lynn Israel, Christopher Rorke, Ryan Rorke, Caitlin Rorke. 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Tish graduated from Swarthmore High School. She was a ballerina and taught lessons in the family barn at Century Farm. She studied art for many years and was a portrait painter doing many commissions and art shows in the area. She was active in the women's group of the American Legion Post 93, Media, Pa. She appeared in Who's who in America. Tish had 60 years of sobriety in AA. She was a devoted Christian.

Her service will be Friday, February 3rd at 12:00 pm at Media Presbyterian Church . There will be a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm prior to the service. Burial in West Laurel Hill Cemetery will be private.
