Lesbia Margarita Diaz, age 80, a resident of Sharon Hill, passed away at home on October 9, 2021.  Born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Lesbia lived briefly in New Orleans before settling in the Philadelphia area where she has lived for the past 30 years.

Ms. Diaz worked as a nanny for many families for many years and was very proud of her work.  She always felt as if those children were her own.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lesbia held numerous callings at church throughout the years and volunteered for four years at Serendipity Thrift Shop which supports a local hospital.

Lesbia was the mother of Nelson Diaz (Beverly) of Sharon Hill, PA and Guadalupe Diaz of New Orleans, LA and the grandmother of Margaret and Claire Diaz.  She is survived by 6 sisters and 10 brothers and many friends who loved her.  Many people considered Lesbia to be their own "abuelita".
