Klatis Aramyan, age 81, passed away at Bryn Mawr Hospital on January 20, 2024.  She was a longtime resident of Broomall, PA, but has lived in Voorhees, NJ for much of the last decade.  A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Klatis will be deeply missed by her beloved family.

Born in Sryia to the late Karapet and Eliza Arabatlyan, Klatis lived for many years in Yerevan, Armenia before immigrating to the United States with her husband, the late Trdat Aramyan, and their three children.  The family settled in Broomall and Klatis, a skilled tailor, found work with Saks Fifth Avenue where she worked for over twenty years.

Klatis was an active member of St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Church. She was a wonderful cook and an avid gardener.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Always putting others first, Klatis was quick to offer help to anyone in need and she had an extremely kind heart.

Klatis was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Trdat Aramyan, who passed away in 2013 and her daughter, Siroun Mardirosian, who passed away in 2008.

She is survived by her children Arshalouise Marashlian and Elya Feerrar; 6 grandchildren, Avetis, Ani, Tigran, Sarkis, Kyler, and Elyssa, along with 5 great-grandchildren.

Klatis' funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th, at St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Church, 630 Clothier Rd. Wynnewood, PA 19096.  Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 10-11 am followed by a church service at 11 am.  Burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
