Kevin J. Gallen, 73, a resident of Newtown Square, died peacefully on March 4, 2025.  Kevin was the son of Peter F. and Margaret M. Gallen (née Harahan).  Born and raised in Broomall, PA, Kevin was a former parishioner of St. Pius X and a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School class of 1969.

For many years, Kevin worked as a deli manager with Pantry Pride. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed his customers who became dear friends over the years.  Kevin found joy in the little things and his happiness was contagious.  He had a passion for music and dancing and was the ultimate Philadelphia sports fan.  He loved the Sixers, Phillies and the Eagles and was glad to see his Eagles win Super Bowl LIX. Kevin treasured his role as an uncle and considered his 25 nieces and nephews his greatest joy. He loved spending time with them and hearing updates on their lives.

Kevin is survived by 8 siblings Brian (Pat) of Kennett Square, Monica McNally (Michael) of Broomall, Peter of Broomall, Bernadette (the late Michael Gladden) of West Chester, Terence (Debra) of Glen Mills, Michelle Leonard of West Chester, Jacqueline Gordon (Tom) of Broomall, and Margie Henry of Broomall, along with 25 beloved nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
